How does pausing a grant work?

If a grant is paused, any vested and unlocked tokens are excluded from your payouts page and cannot be claimed by the stakeholder until the grant is unpaused. Once unpaused, any unlocked tokens from historical dates will become available for distribution in your payouts page.

Why might I need to pause a token grant?

Pausing a token grant might be required for cases in which an administrator wants to hold off on token payouts from an active grant. This might be due to a variety of reasons such as a pending document agreement, a pending confirmation of a wallet address, or holding on payouts due to a milestone that must be achieved prior to token payouts or claims.

Pause a token grant

1. Click Token grants

2. Click the three dots on the right side of the token grant you wish to pause.

3. Click Pause

4. Once complete, you'll see a success notification to confirm the pause.

Resume/unpause a token grant

1. To unpause the grant, return to the token grant row and click the three dots.

2. Click Resume

3. Once complete, you'll see a success notification to confirm that the token grant will resume.
