  1. Get Your Portfolio ID

    • Log in to your Coinbase Prime account

    • Click on the asset in your Portfolio view that you are distributing through Liquifi.

    • Copy the webpage's URL (which includes your portfolio ID) and save it in a new secured note that you'll be sending to Liquifi (such as via 1password) with a few additional items you'll generate during this process.

  2. Adjust Security Settings

    • Go to Settings > Security > Transfers.

    • Ensure Maximum Transfer Amount is set to unlimited.

    • Ensure Trusted Address Protection is enabled.

    • Make changes if necessary and confirm with your YubiKey.

  3. Create API Key

    • Go to APIs and create a new portfolio API key.

    • Name it as Liquifi Transfers

    • Set access types to include:

      • Read

      • Transfer

    • Choose an expiration date (e.g., never or specific timeframe).

We generally advise choosing never to ensure an expired API key doesn't affect your ability to pay out tokens via Liquifi. You can revoke the API key at any time.

    • Confirm with your YubiKey to create the API key.

    • Your API Key creation will need to pass your consensus protocols before proceeding.

  4. Activate API Key

    • Press activate key and confirm with your YubiKey.

    • Copy into your secure note from step 1 (most commonly using 1password) the access key, passphrase, and signing key for the API key.

  5. Completion

    • Confirm that you saved the access key, passphrase, and signing key in your secure note.

    • Click Done

    • Share your secure note with your Liquifi onboarding manager including:

      • Coinbase Prime Portfolio URL from step 1

      • Access key from step 4

      • Passphrase from step 4

      • Signing key from step 4

Ongoing maintenance for each additional stakeholder: For every new stakeholder you add to your Liquifi account, you must also allowlist their wallet address explicitly as a Trusted Address prior to distributing tokens to them.
