Deposit tokens to escrow
Last updated: March 14, 2025
This feature is only available to companies with tokens on the Ethereum and EVM-compatible blockchains.
WHAT IS AN ESCROW? Your Liquifi escrow is a secure smart contract that holds deposited tokens for safekeeping until time conditions are met. We recommend adding funds to your escrow after publishing your token grants on-chain to ensure your escrow balance has sufficient funds to cover upcoming token plan events over the next 30 days.
Keeping your escrow balance sufficiently funded ensures your stakeholders can seamlessly claim vested tokens.
Deposit tokens into your escrow
Log in to Liquifi here with your account owner wallet address
Navigate to the
Balancesection on the right side of the home screen and clickAdd funds
Enter the amount you'd like to add to your escrow (if different from the pre-calculated amount).
SUFFICIENT TOKENS & GAS: Note that you'll need to have enough tokens in your wallet to match the amount that you are about to deposit. In most cases, this amount should include any past due token payouts and the next upcoming payment amounts.
You'll also need enough gas in your wallet to transfer tokens into your escrow.

PRE-CALCULATED AMOUNT: The pop-up screen will pre-calculate the amount required to deposit for all past due payouts and your next upcoming payout.
Click
DepositConfirm the transaction according to your wallet provider requirements.
Once the transaction is complete, you should see a pop-up that notifies you of the escrow balance increase. You can also verify the transaction is complete from your Transactions page.

Stakeholders will now be able to claim any vested and unlocked tokens directly.
Funding your escrow wallet from other sources? You can fund your escrow wallet from any source by copying the escrow wallet address from your home page and sending tokens directly to the escrow wallet address. Here's a video tutorial on how to do that. We strongly advise to first send a small test transaction before sending a large token amount.
Note that you will only be able to withdraw tokens from your escrow account into your account owner wallet. You cannot withdraw tokens from your escrow to a wallet address other than your account owner wallet.
WITHDRAWING TOKENS FROM ESCROW: Here are instructions for withdrawing tokens from your escrow account.
