Why do I see "wallet not verified" on a stakeholder's profile?
Last updated: May 30, 2024
By default, newly added stakeholders in Liquifi are set to a "wallet not verified" state. This intentional design serves as an additional layer of security, ensuring that you confirm the legitimacy of a stakeholder's wallet before transferring any tokens. This precautionary measure minimizes the risk of token loss resulting from inaccurate wallet addresses.
We strongly recommend utilizing our app's test transaction feature to verify a stakeholder's wallet. This feature allows you to conduct a secure test transaction, adding an extra layer of confidence in the verification process.
However, we understand that there may be situations where you are unable or prefer not to use our test transaction feature. For example, if you are solely using Liquifi for tracking purposes or if you choose not to engage in test transactions. In such cases, you have the option to manually mark a stakeholder's wallet as verified.
